Oh no, really, you have to deal with crocodiles too?? I thought that was more a Darwin cyclone emergency thing - i've been through that a few times. Oh darling, we're all thinking of you, my husband lives in Brisbane, he can't even get in, stuck in Coffs Harbour. Love Posie
All of my immediate family is safe and dry. It was eerily sunny and warm in Brisbane today. The water is yet to peak. SO many people are effected. There are 12 confirmed dead, something like 100 people missing. It is weighing heavily on EVERYONE here. It will take years to rebuild what has been destroyed in 3 days.
I believe the Croc was pictured in Gympie, about 2 hours North of Brisbane. Which is another thing, this flooding is not just in Brisbane! It's ALL over Queensland. There are so many miraculous stories emerging.
It's just devastating isn't it? We lived there two years ago and still have family living there, as well as all our friends. Can't even begin to imagine what it must be like.
I hope you are okay Christy. Keep safe.
ReplyDeletethat last picture is super scary! hope you are in a safe place. Naomi x
