Yes sir, yes sir, 28 bundles full!
It seems I have been on the receiving end of some Spring cleaning. I have received more wool in the past month from friends and family cleaning out cupboards then I have ever bought in my life! I have so much that I don't even have somewhere to store it all plus I have no idea how to crochet or knit!!!!!
So, my hands are tied. I HAVE to do a giveaway! *super happy face*
There is feather wool, baby wool, mohair, polyester, snowball, nylon, acrylic, macrame jute. There really is a bit of everything.
For a chance to win this huge bundle of wool you need to be a follower of my blog, and leave a comment below telling me what you would make!
Feel free to add the button on your blog or sidebar.
International entries are welcome.
Giveaway will close and be drawn at 9pm Thursday 6th October 2011 (Brisbane Australia Time)
Good luck everyone!
Wow, what an amazing assortment of wool!
ReplyDeleteI work with pensioners so I'd probably share the prize with them and we'd end up with a real assortment of knitted scarves and gloves - they love all those textured yarns:)
Wow, wow, wow! My heart literaly skipped a beat when I saw all that gorgeous wool! If I won I would be delighted and would probably make some mug cosies to keep drinks warm in the cold weather we are getting!
ReplyDeleteI would give this wool to my sister so she could make all kinds of amazing hats for my boys or amigurumi toys. Maybe I would use some of it too.
ReplyDeleteWow! What an incredible bundle of yarn. It's such a shame you can't use it yourself. Thank you so much for the heads up on my blog. But don't include me as I am on the hunt for some larger quantities so I can get stuck into some bigger projects. Good luck to all.
ReplyDeleteAnd have a wonderful weekend.
What a beauty! Great balls of fire..sorry, wool..count me in!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of wool! I would use some in my papercrafty and altering adventures, and would share the rest with a friend who actually knows how to knit/crochet HA
ReplyDeleteOh what a great give away..all that lovely wool. Count me in. x
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway - although my knitting talents are nil and I am only learning (tragically) to crochet. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't knit either, so would probably attempt to make a lamp shade much like the doily shade I just posted on your facebook page. But realistically I probably wouldn't get around to it for about two years.

Hello! I'm a new follower from the US and I'm hoping I win your gorgeous bundles of wool...
ReplyDeleteThere is SUCH a lovely mix of color and texture that I can make into so many lovely pairs of knitted mitts, it's making me DROOL!! And I would also use some of the leftovers for doll hair for some fanciful and whimsical dolls I have been dreaming up for the past few month or so =-)
Looking forward to peeking at your blog and reading about your grannie's sewing tin =-)
I would knit up some toys with the wool! I have a couple new books of "monsters" to knit and think they will be great fun. I'm a follower as well.
