Selfish reasons

#18
I have mentioned before how much I struggle posting daily for Blogtoberfest.  I'm past the half way bump which I'm super glad about.  But there is something I have also been thinking about.  What is the point in posting daily?  I mean, is anyone even reading my posts?

So today I ask you this, do you read my posts?  If you do, leave a comment.  You have no idea what it would mean to me!

In the meantime, here are some cute things I've found lately to make this post more visually appealing.

Don't forget to leave a comment! (my ego is lacking in a big way)

Until tomorrow,

Christy

I do read your posts most days, but I don't always comment. I subscribe to over 300 blogs and don't always have the time. I'm sure you can relate. But I think your blog is marvelous. You count always put a counter on your blog so you would know how many people are visiting you. You'd be surprised.

You know, I feel the exact same way about blogging! Some days I feel like giving it up altogether...
Now on to your question: I do read your posts! I read a lot of blogs! I try to comment when I can, but if I'm in a rush, I don't always get a chance to comment on every blog I read.

I'm with you on this one, before I started blogoberfest I was really starting to question my sanity. Who sits at a computer nearly every day and puts there thoughts out there only to find no one is responding. I would sit here at my computer getting really cranky at the stats that blogger was telling me. Why was it telling me that people were reading my blog but I had no comments to really prove this. But the last two weeks has really made me feel loved.
One thing that I have found helpful is I added a thing to the bottom of my post that let readers click that the post was interesting, cool or funny. this way readers can can comment without thinking what to say.
What I really want to say is stick in there it gets better :)

I'm glad you read my blog :) It really does make me happy.

I also read my stats today for the first time, which gave me some hope!

I have made it a goal to comment more on other's blogs and hopefully they will do it in return.
